I’ve been bitten by the gardening bug and have been spending weekends in plant nurseries dreaming of an overgrown, colorful garden in our backyard. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and on a recent trip to Lowes I discovered absolutely humongous hydrangea plants in pinks, purples and whites. Not knowing the first thing about planting hydrangeas, I bought four of them and took them home with me; my car bursting with these newly purchased potted florals. I’ve placed them in pots and sat them across various places in the yard, hoping that after a week one spot will be better for them than another and then I can plant them! They require partial sun, so I am guessing the ones on the east side of our house will flourish the most. But don’t they look beautiful sitting between the two adirondack chairs? Next on my list are lilac and cherry blossoms!
