Cilantro Jalapeño Margarita

After a long day of furniture shopping for our cabin outside of Leavenworth, we decided to take a breather and cool down in the outdoor shaded area of a restaurant called South. It is my favorite hidden Leavenworth gem… serving latin inspired flavors with the absolute best guacamole trio and a beautiful outdoor patio area with white lights, ivy and rustic copper doors. This margarita had the spicy kick I craved and the perfect amount of lime juice to make it a tart, refreshing drink. I am definitely going to try making this at home:

The Stinger (1 part of each):

Agave tequila

Fresh lemon juice

Fresh lime juice

Muddled cilantro & jalapeño

Salted rim

We also ordered the Fish Veracruz; pacific line-caught cod sautéed and topped with tomato, olive, capers, and serrano sauce. served with seasoned rice, black beans and cabbage salsa. Yum!
