Avocado Turkey Burger

This is a great recipe I found on Pinterest and it can be eaten with out without the bun. We’ve been trying paleo lately and avocado is a huge paleo staple! It makes the pattie super moist and helps the meat and parmesan stick together and get all gooey. Here is the recipe:

1/2 lb ground turkey

1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder

 

 

Mix all ingredients together and place into patties. After grilling, eat with tomato, mozzarella, basil, onion, mustard, and any other topping of your choice. We ate these without the buns using butter lettuce on the top and bottom and they were delicious. Perfect for a summer barbecue if you want to change it up a bit!
