Little Italy

I went out to dinner the other night to a little italian restaurant in Tacoma’s Proctor district, Europa Bistro. I remember going there during college when my parents came to visit and took me out to a really good, authentic italian meal. I ordered the linguini with tiger prawns and dungeness crab… delicious! It was the wine that made the meal memorable, however. Ordered from Italy, it was the kind of wine that blows you away with the first sip and changes flavors as the night goes on. I am not a huge wine aficionado, but this may just be the best wine I have ever tasted. And the green bottle made it stand out and seem very old fashioned. The chef came to visit our table, saw the wine and even had a taste for himself. Dinners with friends and family sharing good food and wine are my favorite!
