There’s nothing better than coming home after work, sitting on the porch while the summer breeze fills the air with flowers, and taking a sip of cool, sweet rosé. It is the perfect summer drink and the blush color makes it feel a little more special than white wine. I was never a fan of super sweet wines, but many rosés can be quite dry with notes of strawberry, cherry or raspberry. This wine we ordered in Cinque Terre, Italy. The town we were is called Riomaggiore. When we ordered this bottle of wine, the server also brought us prosciutto, olives, chips and almonds. We drank it slowly and watched the sunset, then ordered a big plate of pesto!
